- All shooters must be a current RWF member and visibly display their Master membership card, or be a member’s guest with a validated guest pass on their person.
- Red flags must be flown at the entrance to the property and on the individual range being used.
- The ACTS and PROVE Rules must be adhered to at all times.

Ranges can only be used from sunrise to sunset, to a maximum of 7 am to 9 pm.
- The rapid discharge of any Centrefire rifle from a standing position is strictly prohibited without prior Board approval.
- Individuals must step behind the cease fire line and must not handle any firearms in any way while anyone is downrange.
- In the interest of safety, shooters are advised to use chamber safety flags and wear eye and ear protection.
- People appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted on the firing line.
- Firearms must be used only on ranges specifically designated for their use. (View YouTube video for details).
- Firearms with closed actions are considered loaded and must be treated as such.
- Firearms shall be pointed downrange only.
- Only paper targets, posted on the provided target stands are allowed – no targets are to be set up on range floor or berms.
- During periods of heavy demand, firing will cease for a target check after a maximum of 5 shots.
- Upon completion of firing, shooters must remove all equipment, targets, spent casings, etc. immediately clearing firing line for others to shoot.
- Firearm containing a live round must not leave the firing line.
- Malfunctions must be cleared immediately – at the firing line.
- No one is to handle other shooters’ equipment without their permission.
- Shooting into the side berms is not permitted; all rounds must go directly down range into the back berms only.
- Shooting from a prone position at the 25yard target stand on the Centrefire range is prohibited.
- As applicable, archers and those using BB, and air guns or any device propelling a projectile, will also be bound by these rules.
- Vehicles must stay on developed roads only.
- Quads and snowmobiles are prohibited on the property without board approval.
- No wildlife of any kind may be shot at or harassed in any way within the property boundaries.
- Wildflower and berry picking are prohibited.
- Camping on the property is prohibited without Board approval.
- At the discretion of the VRSO offences are to be considered coachable opportunities dependent on the severity of the offence and the offenders response.
- Anyone damaging RWF property or otherwise contravening any of these rules is subject to immediate expulsion from the club and/or legal prosecution.
