Spring is finally here and it’s time to do some spring cleaning at the RWF. This year we have decided there will be 2 separate days when you can participate in the spring cleanup – Sunday May 7th 9AM and Sunday May 28th 9AM. Lunch will be provided both days to those that decided to come out and help with various tasks. If you do decide to come out and have some tools – see list below – please bring them as we only have so many tools to go around. Having 5-6 people operating the weed whackers makes short order of getting the job done for example.
Eric Bunce and our new president Cam Hutchings have started to compile a list of several things that need to get done. Some of these things include replacing the belting on the various ranges, fixing target stands, grass cutting, bench resurfacing, removing old junk etc. We would really appreciate it if you can donate some of your time and come out to help.
The muster point for both days will be at the Quonset located on the RWF property beside the rifle ( big bore ) range.
Please bring to following tools if you can:
- Mitre Saws
- Cordless Drills ; Bits
- Chain Saws
- Circular Saws
- Hand or power auger
- General tools (hammers, pilers, socket set etc )
